One of the biggest food and agriculture gatherings in the Middle East. Qualified buyers from Africa and the Middle East attend on the official Hosted Buyer Programme. SAIS Events prepares your profile, submits it to the organiser and manages your trip to Abu Dhabi and back.
The registration link is code protected. Ask Kate for your access code, then we take you through the form.
Approved buyers travel on the organiser's account. You cover your visa and your time.
For senior buyers with real purchasing authority
This is the deal you accept when you apply
The organiser pays for your trip because you are meeting their exhibitors. The form asks you to confirm you can sit through at least 20 meetings across the three days. If your diary cannot take that, tell us now and we will look at a different show for you.
Senior decision makers with purchasing power. Junior staff and general visitors are not funded.
Global Food Week runs alongside the Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition, the Honey Symposium, the Global Food Security Summit, the AgriTech Forum and the Proteins Alternative initiative.
Go through the sectors and the exhibitor list before you apply. Mark the suppliers you want and send us that list. We use it to build your 20 meetings.
ADAFSA is running the inaugural Honey Symposium inside Global Food Week, together with Apimondia, the international federation of beekeepers. The theme is sustainable beekeeping in arid environments, and it opens on 6 October with the session on bee conservation and sustainable beekeeping.
If you trade in honey, this is a room worth being in. African honey sits well against Middle East demand, and the buyers, packers and regulators are all in the same hall for three days.
Tell us at application stage if honey is your category. We build your meetings around this symposium instead of the main halls.
The registration link is locked. You need an unlock code from Kate to open it.
Message on WhatsApp or email. We check your buying profile, then issue your access code.
Type it into the box on this page. It opens the official Global Food Week registration form.
Company, buying categories, volumes, procurement budget and travel details. Stuck on the form, call us and we fill it in with you.
We push your application through the buyer team and get your approval confirmed in writing before you book anything.
The registration link opens once your code is accepted. Do not have a code yet? WhatsApp Kate on 0722 170 385.
That code is not right. Check it with Kate.
Your hosted buyer registration form is open below. Answer every question honestly, especially the buying volumes. That is what the organiser scores you on.
Register with SAISEvery hosted buyer must show a company profile document or a working company website. No profile, no funded seat. If you do not have one, we build it for you. Email info@saisevents.com or WhatsApp Kate on 0722 170 385.
The show runs its own visa desk for approved buyers. The link opens with the same unlock code.

Global Food Week has an official visa service page with an application form for delegates who need a UAE entry visa. We keep it behind the code so only screened buyers reach it.
Enter your unlock code in the box above and this opens.
Unlocked
Fill in the visa form on the show's own page. Use the same names and passport details you used on your hosted buyer registration, otherwise the two records will not match and the visa gets held.
Start this four to six weeks before the show. That is the realistic lead time for most African passports.
You run your business. We run the paperwork.
One short WhatsApp conversation. If your profile will not win a funded seat, we say so on day one instead of wasting six weeks of your time.
Company profile, buying categories, volumes and letterhead, packaged the way the organiser wants to read it.
Most African passports need a UAE visa. We get the official invitation letter and guide the application. SAIS Events has an office in Dubai, so we are on the ground at both ends.
We put your supplier wish list into the matchmaking system so your diary is full of the right people, not random stands.
SAIS Events supports our delegation on the ground for all three days.
Franklin Nkem, our Director for the Middle East, is your contact in the UAE. WhatsApp our UAE office on +971 50 768 7653.
No public deadline is published. The funded list closes once seats fill, and the UAE visa can take four to six weeks.
Straight answers.
We screen buyers before they reach the form. It keeps our delegation list clean with the organiser, and it means the applications we send through get accepted. Ask Kate and we will issue yours.
Not without one. It is mandatory. We build company profiles and simple websites for buyers who need them, so email or WhatsApp us and we will sort it before your application goes in.
Tell us on WhatsApp and we will give you the figure before you commit to anything. There is no charge for finding out whether you qualify.
The funded seat is issued to one named decision maker. A second person can travel with the delegation at their own cost, and we handle their booking and invitation letter too.
No. You are obliged to attend the 20 meetings booked for you. What you buy after that is your business.
Abu Dhabi is where African produce meets Middle East buyers, and Global Food Week puts dates, honey, agritech, retail and hospitality buying in the same halls. Last edition signed AED 6.6 billion in deals across 58 agreements.
Send your company name and what you buy. We will tell you within the day whether your profile is strong enough for a funded seat.
